There are thousands of books published every year and we have listed just a few of our favourites to come. If it has been announced then we can order it for you, just get in touch.

We love to talk about books, recommend books and appreciate books with anyone interested so don’t hesitate to ask. You will find some of our recommended titles here and many, many more in the shop as well as a very efficient (usually next-day) ordering service.
Bricks and Mortar
We are a proudly bricks-and-mortar high street shop. We believe independent bookshops are a special place to visit and so much of the pleasure of reading is going into a bookshop, having a browse, chatting about exceptional (or not!) books and experiencing the soul and atmosphere of reading.
Events
We work closely with the local community, schools and the library to curate a wide range of interesting and inspiring sessions. We are currently organising a small programme of events for autumn 2025 so be the first to hear about these by signing up to our newsletter, or check out what is coming up soon on the events page.
